Hi!
My name is Kyle. I’m a wife to a fantastic hubby, homeschooling Momma to 6 amazing munchkins, an accidental business owner, & a blogger.
We live in glorious North Idaho, and we love living up here. I started my business in the beginning of 2020 because I wanted to have something for me that wasn’t kid related & I also wanted to help our family financially, but I didn’t want to sacrifice my time with my children since they grow up so stinking fast!
Since starting my business, I’ve been on the hunt to figure out how to manage the business, the house, the family, & the kids’ schooling while still having fun & some semblance of a life. I don’t want to just survive; I want each area to thrive! I know having fun in all the areas all the time isn’t realistic, but I do want the majority of my time in each area to be fun. I want my children to see the business as a bonus rather than resent it & I really don’t want to resent it either, for that matter.
As Moms, wives, business owners, schoolteachers, chefs, shuttle drivers, house cleaners…we have lots on our plates. We just want the best for our families, for our clients/customers, for ourselves! Yet society seems to think we need to do it all, do it well, never complain, do it all while smiling, & have unlimited energy.
My goal with this blog is to be a resource to fellow Mompreneurs, to help you lighten your load and give you tools to manage your time, your schedule, & your mindset. To provide you with a community to come to when you’re at the end of your rope, or when things are going well & you want someone to celebrate with who understands exactly what you’re feeling, or when you know something can be done better, or you need it to be done better, but you just don’t know how to change it! There will be a mix of motivational posts, recipes & meal plans that are in rotation in our kitchen, & practical tips/tricks that I’ve found work for our house.
Are you looking for a community of other mompreneurs who are going through the same things you are? Do you want support & connections while you navigate this journey?
